Return to Former Class. As an alternative to appointment from any employment list, any current regular nurse, upon recommendation of the appointing authority and approval by the Director of Personnel, may be appointed without further examination to a position in any class in which regular status had formerly been acquired, or to any related class on a comparable level with the former class.
