Common use of Return Material Clause in Contracts

Return Material. Except to the extent necessary to perform its rights and obligations pursuant to Section 17.7, each Party will promptly return to the other Party (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing by the Parties and except for one copy for archival purposes only) all physical embodiments of any of the other Party’s Independent Technology, Confidential Information and Copyrighted Works, that were provided by such other Party under this Agreement.
