Common use of Retransmissions Clause in Contracts

Retransmissions. i. If the Contractor receives a transmission from the Department or the Department’s vendor that the Contractor cannot process correctly, the Contractor will notify the Department within 4 business hours and the Department shall ensure a corrected file is retransmitted to the Contractor within four (4) business hours. ii. If the Department or the Department’s vendor cannot process a file received from the Contractor, due to errors on the part of Contractor, the Department will notify the Contractor and the Contractor shall retransmit as soon as the errors are remediated. iii. For the purposes of this Section, an unintelligible file shall be defined as any file that does not conform with the specified format for the data exchange, is not readable by the target systems due to a malformed file (i.e. corrupt data, unparsable xml, etc.), or is incomplete.
