Restricted Procedures. A) No teacher shall be requested to carry out any of the following procedures: lifting and positioning assistance with mobility feeding toileting injecting of any substance However a teacher shall provide help and/or seek assistance for a student in an emergency. B) The Board shall, through existing or supplementary insurance coverage, insure teachers against claims arising from the administration of medication in emergency/non-emergency situations.
