Common use of Responsibilities of Counsel Clause in Contracts

Responsibilities of Counsel. Class Counsel is responsible for expeditiously finalizing and filing the Motion for Preliminary Approval no later than 30 days after the full execution of this Agreement and for obtaining a prompt hearing date for the Motion for Preliminary Approval on a date in which Defense Counsel is available. Class Counsel and Defense Counsel are responsible for appearing in Court at the hearing for the Motion for Preliminary Approval. Class Counsel is responsible for delivering the Court’s Preliminary Approval to the Administrator.
