RESIDENT EDUCATOR PROGRAM PURPOSE. The Resident Educator Program provides Ohio’s newest educators with the coaching, mentoring and guidance that are critical to improving their skills and knowledge and increasing student achievement. The Resident Educator Program is administered by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Career & Technical Center District in compliance with ODE standards, policies, and procedures for licensure of new educators. The Resident Educator program does not replace the employment evaluation as outlined in Article VII, Section 11 of this negotiated agreement and is used exclusively for license determination. Should the Resident Educator requirements be modified by law or regulation, the parties agree to meet to discuss necessary modifications to the Negotiated Agreement, which shall be adopted through a Memorandum of Understanding. Should the Resident Educator program be eliminated by law or regulation, all references to Resident Educator in Article VII, Section 7 in the Negotiated Agreement, including compensation related to those duties, will expire upon the effective date of the legislation or regulation.
