The Residence Location clause establishes where an individual, such as an employee or contractor, is required to live during the term of an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies a city, region, or country in which the person must maintain their primary residence, and may require notification or approval if the individual wishes to relocate. Its core practical function is to ensure that the individual remains within a geographic area necessary for business operations, legal compliance, or logistical reasons, thereby supporting the employer’s or contracting party’s operational needs.
Residence Location. It is agreed that the employees shall keep the CITY informed immediately of any change of their telephone number and mailing address. The CITY shall be deemed to have satisfied all notification requirements under the M.O.U. by attempting to contact the employee through the last address of record.
