Requirement and approval a) Except as provided in subclause 10.4, Utilities Management can require an employee to work reasonable overtime.
b) Approved overtime is payable when an employee works outside standard working hours. For employees working under flexitime arrangements, overtime • may be paid from the Earliest Starting Time (EST) to the beginning of standard hours and from the end of standard hours until the Latest Finishing Time (LFT) for a particular location (for example, 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.). • will be paid when directed to work before the EST and/or after the LFT (for example, before 7.30 a.m. and after 5.30 p.m.).
c) Overtime must be authorised and approved by an Utilities Management officer with authority to do so.

For employees working under flexitime arrangements, overtime • may be paid where an employee has worked more than 7.5 hours on a normal working day (irrespective of their finishing time), and therefore may be eligible for overtime. • will be paid when directed to work before the Earliest Starting Time and/or after the Latest Finishing Time (for example, before 7.00 a.m. and after 7.00 p.m.).
c) Overtime must be authorised and approved by an ElectraNet officer with authority to do so.
Requirement and approval. 4.12.1.1 SA Water can require an Employee to work reasonable overtime.
4.12.1.2 Overtime is paid for work performed outside ordinary hours when approved by a SA Water officer authorised to do so.
