Common use of Required Observations Clause in Contracts

Required Observations. 40 1. Provisional employees shall be observed at least one (1) time within the first 90 41 calendar days from the commencement of their responsibilities in each provisional 42 year. They shall be observed at least one (1) more time before May 1 of those school 43 years. 44 2. Continuing employees on the long form cycle shall have at least two (2) required 45 classroom observations during the school year. The total observation time for each of 46 these observations shall be not less than 60 minutes. At least one (1) of these 47 observations shall be a minimum of 30 continuous minutes. The first of these 48 required observations shall occur before the end of the first semester. The second 49 required observation shall occur prior to May 30. 1 3.
