1) An employee assigned to the ten hour afternoon shift schedule who has not been notified not to come to work and who reports to work as usual shall be given pay for five (5) hours work at the applicable hourly rate, this shall not apply in the case of an employee returning to work after an absence, if the employee has not given prior notice to the Company of his intention to return to work, nor is his return to work is not in accordance with the Company’s instructions.
2) An employee who is called in outside of his regular working hours for other than work which is continuous with the beginning or ending of the shift, shall be paid a minimum of five (5) hours pay at his normal straight time rate or at his applicable overtime rate for the time worked on call-in, whichever is greater.
