Common use of Repair Period Notice Clause in Contracts

Repair Period Notice. Landlord shall, within thirty (30) days after the date of the Casualty, provide written notice to Tenant indicating the anticipated period for repairing the Casualty ("Repair Period Notice"). The Repair Period Notice shall be accompanied by a certified statement executed by the contractor retained by Landlord to complete the repairs or, if Landlord has not retained a contractor, a licensed contractor not affiliated with landlord, certifying the contractor's opinion about the anticipated period for repairing the Casualty. The Repair Period Notice shall also state, if applicable, Landlord's election either to repair or to terminate the Lease under Section 14.3.
