Released Time - Preparation Periods. 1. All teachers will normally be granted at least fifty (50) minutes daily when they are released from direct supervision of their students. This is intended to be used for both instructional preparation and personal relaxation. If teachers determine that it is necessary for them to leave the campus during this time, they must notify the office.

If it is necessary for a teachers’ planning period to be split, the ideal situation is the periods of time are at least 25 minutes in length.
