Common use of Release etc Clause in Contracts

Release etc. Any liability owing from any Stockholder or the Company under this Agreement may in whole or in part be released, compounded or compromised or time or indulgence given by a Stockholder or the Company in its absolute discretion without in any way prejudicing or affecting its rights against any other Party under the same or a like liability, whether joint and several or otherwise, or the rights of any other Party.
