References to Laws and Other Agreements. 16.3.1 All references in this Agreement to laws shall be understood to include such laws as they may be subsequently amended or recodified, unless otherwise specifically provided. The Franchisee is informed that County has a sovereign right to ordain, pass or adopt, in addition to the provisions contained in the current County Code Chapter 8.12, such additional rules, regulations, laws, resolutions and/or ordinances as the Board may find necessary in the exercise of its police powers.
