Common use of Reference Period Clause in Contracts

Reference Period. The period of (a) four (4) consecutive fiscal quarters of the Borrower ending on the relevant date or (b) until four (4) full fiscal quarters of the Borrower have elapsed after September 30, 1999, such shorter period of one, two or three full fiscal quarters, elapsed since September 30, 1999, with the relevant amount applicable to such shorter period annualized for the period of four (4) consecutive fiscal quarters for which the applicable covenant or test calculation is being performed by multiplying the relevant amount by a fraction, whose numerator is four (4) and whose denominator is such actual number of elapsed full fiscal quarters.
