Common use of Record Retention and Access to Records Clause in Contracts

Record Retention and Access to Records. Subrecipient agrees that the City of Providence, USDT, the Comptroller General of the United States or any of their authorized representatives, has the right to access the Program and any books, documents, papers or other records of Subrecipient or the Program, which are pertinent to this Contract Agreement in order to make audits, examinations, excerpts or transcripts. Subrecipient will maintain all books and records pertaining to this Contract Agreement throughout and until the City of Providence’s grant closeout with USDT or for a 10-year period following the execution of this Contract Agreement, whichever period is longer in duration.
