Recognized Teaching Experience. Previous teaching experience with this Board or its predecessor Boards, documented by the appropriate Board will be honoured provided it was for a long-term occasional assignment. For short-term work assignments since January 1, 1991 the total days worked will be credited as follows: 20 days or more = 1 grid step 80 days or more = 2 grid step 10 5 40 days or more = 1 grid step 100 days or more = 1 grid step 5 2 60 days or more = 3 grid step 120 days or more = 3 grid step 10 5 140 days or more = 7 grid step 10 160 days or more = 4 grid step 5 180 days or more = 9 grid step 10 190 days or more = full grid step All days accumulated that are less than a full 1/10 step shall be carried forward to the following school year for credit.
