The Department and the Association agree that the legal holidays shall be: New Year’s Day Nevada Day ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Day Veterans’ Day Presidents’ Day Thanksgiving Day Memorial Day Friday after Thanksgiving Day Independence Day Labor Day Day before Christmas Christmas Day Any legal holiday specifically appointed for local government employees by the President of the United States, except for any Presidential appointment of the fourth Monday in October as Veterans’ Day.

If an officer is required to be off in-lieu of the holiday, the officer shall not be expected to be on-call or required to respond to call-out.
