Common use of Recall Procedure Clause in Contracts

Recall Procedure. Laid off employees with seniority will be given the first opportunity to be recalled. Employees will be notified of recall by telephone, telegraph, or other type of message which will be confirmed by registered mail. An employee being recalled must return to work as soon as reasonably possible after the first notice of recall as described above, but no longer than ten (10) working days after receipt of the registered notice, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the employer and the employee. A copy of the notice will be given to the Shop Xxxxxxx or Union Committee member.
