Common use of Reallocation of Lost Participant's Accounts Clause in Contracts

Reallocation of Lost Participant's Accounts. If the Administrator cannot locate a person entitled to payment of a Plan benefit after a reasonable search, the Administrator may at any time thereafter treat such person's Account as forfeited and use such amount as described in Section 8. If such person subsequently presents the Administrator with a valid claim for the benefit, such person shall be paid the amount treated as forfeited, plus the interest that would have been earned in the Sweep Account to the date of determination. The Administrator shall pay the amount through an additional amount contributed by the Employer or direct the Trustee to pay the amount from the Forfeiture Account.
