Ready/Return Spaces Clause Samples
Ready/Return Spaces. Licensee shall have the right to use those parking spaces designated on the attached drawing hereinafter referred to as Exhibit “A.1”, containing 18 surface spaces. Licensee may use its allocated Ready/Return Spaces for: (1) the parking of Licensee's automobiles awaiting customer rental at the Airport and (2) the return of rental vehicles. The County reserves the right during the term of this Agreement to relocate, reallocate, increase or reduce the ready/return spaces assigned to Licensee. Reallocation of the Ready/Return Spaces will be reviewed by the County at the end of Agreement Year 2. The County reserves the right to reallocate the Ready/Return Spaces during the 3rd Agreement Year as its sole discretion and provided agreement can be reached by all Licensees. Parking spaces in the ready return lot is intended for use by rental vehicles only, and Licensee shall not permit or allow other vehicles, including those owned or operated by employees, the general public or others to park in these spaces. Violation of parking restrictions can result in the Licensee paying fees that would have been collected in available Airport paid public parking lots.
Ready/Return Spaces. Ready/Return Area #XX, Level XX, of Garage A consisting of approximately XX,XXX square feet, as shown on Exhibit B, Page 1, is leased to the Contractor, subject to the following conditions:
(1) The spaces shall be used by the Contractor only for parking automobiles that are ready to be picked up by the Contractor's customers, and for return of automobiles to the Contractor by its customers, but no other Contractor’s vehicle parking, including employee parking, shall otherwise be permitted in or about the ready/return area.
(2) The Contractor may not change the floor traffic circulation and ready/return-parking plan where its ready/return spaces are located, unless such a change is agreed to by all of the other rental car contractor(s) on the floor (if applicable) and is approved in writing by the Authority. The Contractor shall be responsible for re-striping and other associated costs involved in changing the parking plan or traffic circulation.
(3) The spaces and any general leasehold signage shall be planned by the Contractor at its expense with such signs installed in a manner approved by the Authority. The signage shall conform to the Authority's signing guidelines.
(4) The spaces shall be solely used by the Contractor and no one else and the Contractor agrees that in the event the Contractor makes use of any ready/return spaces which are not assigned to it as Premises and the Contractor fails to cease such use 24 hours after written notice from the Authority, the Contractor shall be required to pay the Authority the existing daily public parking rate per day per unauthorized space and that, additionally, any vehicle owned by the Contractor found in such a space may be ticketed for illegal parking and towed at the Contractor's expense by or at the direction of the Authority. The current fine for parking violations is $40.00. Such fine is subject to change. The current towing and first day’s storage expense is $125.00 and may be revised from time to time by the Authority. After the first day, the daily storage fee of $25.00 shall be subject to change in accordance with the Authority's policies.
(5) The Authority provides for each Contractor a kiosk in the ready/return area. Kiosks shall be used for providing general information to customers, rental agreements, and vehicle keys to the Contractor's express customers.
