Rate Differential. For the term of this Agreement, the University is willing to maintain pay rates for non-probationary Sergeants at a level that is 12% above that paid at Rate C in effect on July 1st for Patrol Officers. For purpose of clarifying the application of this practice, pay adjustments provided to P&A’s will be applied before any further adjustment is made to maintain the 12% differential above Patrol Rate “C”. Should the application of such P&A pay adjustment to a bargaining unit member result in a pay rate that is more than 12% above Patrol Rate “C”, no further adjustment will be made to the member’s pay rate in that contract year.

Rate Differential. The Parties acknowledge that Bazaar's Energy Service Agreement provides that Bazaar will pay a different rate for Energy Services than the other Parties will pay therefor under their respective Energy Service Agreements. The Parties agree that, to the extent that Bazaar pays higher rates for Energy Services than the other Parties, the portion of the Consumption Charges (as defined in Bazaar's Energy Service Agreement) paid by Bazaar each year attributable to the rate differential between the rates paid by Bazaar for Energy Services and the rates paid by the other Parties for Energy Services (the "Rate Differential Amount") will be credited towards Aladdin's Contract Capacity Charges (as defined in Aladdin's Energy Service Agreement) payable under Aladdin's Energy Service Agreement for the following year. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the following provisions shall apply with respect to all Consumption Charges paid by Bazaar during the term of its Energy Service Agreement (as it may be extended):
Rate Differential. A. The salary differential between the normal rate of salary of a Patrol officer and the rate of salary for a Patrol officer permanently assigned to the Detective Division shall be as follows: January 1, 2003 - $3,200.00 January 1, 2004 - $3,200.00 January 1, 2005 - $3,200.00 January 1, 2006 - $3,200.00 These amounts shall be added to the base pay of any Patrol officer assigned to the Detective Division.
Rate Differential. For the term of this Agreement, non-probationary Sergeants will be paid a minimum of 12% above the highest Patrol Officer rate, excluding shift premium or any special assignment premium or other premium rates in effect on July 1st. For purpose of clarifying the application of this practice, pay adjustments provided to P&A’s will be applied before any further adjustment is made to maintain the 12% differential above the highest Patrol Rate as noted above. Should the application of such P&A pay adjustment to a bargaining unit member result in a pay rate that is more than 12% above the highest Patrol Rate, no further adjustment will be made to the member’s pay rate in that contract year.

  • Price Differential a. On each Business Day that a Transaction is outstanding, the Pricing Rate shall be reset and, unless otherwise agreed, the accrued and unpaid Price Differential shall be settled in cash on each related Price Differential Payment Date. Two Business Days prior to the Price Differential Payment Date, Buyer shall give Seller written or electronic notice of the amount of the Price Differential due on such Price Differential Payment Date. On the Price Differential Payment Date, Seller shall pay to Buyer the Price Differential for such Price Differential Payment Date (along with any other amounts to be paid pursuant to Sections 7 and 35 hereof), by wire transfer in immediately available funds.

  • Shift Differential The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

  • Night Differential Employees whose weekly work schedules consist of regularly scheduled night tours shall receive a night differential of ten percent (10%) of their Adjusted Rate. Employees who work fewer than five (5) night tours in a calendar week shall be paid a differential equal to one-fifth (1/5) of the night differential for each scheduled tour so worked.

  • Shift Differentials A shift differential of thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour shall be paid for shifts starting between 2:00 p.m. and 9:59 p.m. for employees regularly assigned to such shifts. A shift differential of forty-five cents ($.45) per hour shall be paid for shifts starting between 10:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. for employees regularly assigned to such shifts. The differential provided herein shall be part of base pay for overtime pay and other purposes. Employees at the Maine State Prison who are regularly assigned to the 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. shift are to be paid a shift differential of forty-five cents ($.45) per hour. Employees of mental health and correctional facilities shall be eligible for the second shift differential when their shift begins between 12:00 noon and 4:59 p.m.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.

  • Night Shift Differential 1. An employee who works an assigned night shift shall, in addition to his or her regular salary, be paid a night shift differential for each hour actually worked on the assigned night shift.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Leadwork Differential (a) Leadwork differential shall be defined as a differential for employees who have been formally assigned by their supervisor in writing, “leadwork” duties for ten (10) consecutive calendar days (or the equivalent thereof for alternate or flexible schedules) or longer provided the leadwork or team leader duties are not included in the classification specification for the employee’s position. Leadwork is where, on a recurring daily basis, the employee has been directed to perform substantially all of the following functions: to orient new employees, if appropriate; assign and reassign tasks to accomplish prescribed work efficiently; give direction to workers concerning work procedures; transmit established standards of performance to workers; review work of employees for conformance to standards; and provide informal assessment of workers’ performance to the supervisor.

  • Breakage Costs Without limiting its generality, Clause 21.1 covers any claim, expense, liability or loss, including a loss of a prospective profit, incurred by a Lender:

  • Shift Differential Pay A. An employee shall receive additional compensation at the rate of seventy five cents (75¢) per hour for all hours worked on a shift when the majority of hours worked on the shift are between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. and in locations where these classes are regularly assigned shift work.
