Ranch. Guest understand and agree that Middlefork Ranch is a scenic natural site, with much of it still in its natural state. The ground is uneven, with poison oak, small animals, hillsides, rocks, and other natural hazards. Middlefork Ranch is bounded entirely on one side by the Xxxxx River; and it is accessed (on foot) by a swinging bridge across the Xxxxx River or by driving over a gravel road which is over a mile in length and very steep with switchback curves. Ranch. Introduction Tejon Ranch (fig.1), at 109 000 ha, is the largest contiguous private property in California. The 2008 Tejon Ranch Conservation and Land Use Agreement (Agreement) between the Tejon Ranch Company, the property owner, and five environmental organizations (Audubon California, Endangered Habitats League, Natural Resources Defense Council, Planning and Conservation League, and Sierra Club) resulted in conservation of 97 000 ha of the Ranch, of which oak woodlands are a significant land cover type supporting numerous species of conservation interest. The Agreement created the Tejon Ranch Conservancy and charged it with developing and implementing a management plan for the conserved lands. Over the past 200 years, human development and agriculture have eliminated extensive areas of oak woodlands. While 20 oak species still cover 4 million ha of the California landscape (Xxxxx-Xxxx and others 2007), they face a variety of threats. Perhaps the most well-studied threat is insufficient oak regeneration to maintain stable populations (Xxxxxxxxx 1988, Xxxxxxx 1976, Xxxxx and others 2008). Cattle grazing in oak rangelands is frequently cited as the cause of the regeneration problem (Xxxxx-Xxxx and others 2007). Given the conservation significance of oak woodlands, understanding their ecology and identifying management approaches is a high priority of the Conservancy. This paper describes the conservation significance, structure and condition, and management priorities of oak woodlands at Tejon Ranch.

Ranch. Until May 1, 2000, Lender or its successor will offer to Foreland the right to participate for up to 50% of Lender's working interest (a) on the same terms as agreed by any third-party, which terms are acceptable to Lender, in any exploration program involving the Hay Ranch, Nevada, prospect, as set forth on Exhibit "B" attached hereto, (b) in any Foreland proposal that is acceptable to Lender or its successor, or (c) if Lender or its successor drills without any third party participation then on terms that are negotiated between Foreland and Lender or its successor. Era Sakti Wiraforestama mendapatkan lahan tanah yang diinginkannya dengan menggunakan tanah xxxxx masyarakat kecamatan Xxxx Xxxx. Penggunaan tanah masyarakat adat Xxxx Xxxx untuk keperluan usaha perkebunan PT. Era Sakti Wiraforestama bukanlah terjadi dengan sendirinya xxx penguasaan semena-mena, melainkan diawali dengan suatu perjanjian kepada xxxxx masyarakat pemilik tanah tersebut. Perjanjian yang diadakan antara PT. Era Sakti Wiraforestama dengan masyarakat adat Xxxx Xxxx adalah perjanjian penggunaan tanah untuk keperluan usaha, yang dituangkan dalam surat perjanjian. Dalam perjanjian yang diadakan, ditentukan xxx xxx kewajiban masing-masing pihak, umumnya hak dari pihak PT. Era Sakti Wiraforestama dapat menggunakan tanah milik masyrakat adat untuk kegiatan usaha perkebunannya hingga jangka waktu yang ditentukan dengan kewajiban membayar sejumlah harga dari hasil perkebunan yang dilakukan xxx mengembalikan pengelolaan tanah tersebut kepada xxxxx masyarakat adat pada saat berakhirnya jangka waktu perjanjian. Sedangkan hak masyarakat adat selaku pemilik tanah selain mendapatkan bagian hasil perkebunan juga mendapatkan tanahnya kembali setelah berakhirnya perjanjian. Dikarenakan penggunaan tanah untuk usaha perkebunan memakan waktu yang cukup lama, maka banyak terjadi perubahan- perubahan dalam pelaksanaan perjanjian yang kadangkala tidak diketahui oleh pihak xxxxx masyarakat, sehingga merugikan xxxxx masyarakat itu sendiri. Dengan terjadinya perubahan-perubahan dalam pelaksanaan perjanjian tanpa diketahui oleh pihak xxxxx masyarakat adat Xxxx Xxxx, timbulah berbagai permasalahan berupa :

  • Asset Management Supplier will: i) maintain an asset inventory of all media and equipment where Accenture Data is stored. Access to such media and equipment will be restricted to authorized Personnel; ii) classify Accenture Data so that it is properly identified and access to it is appropriately restricted; iii) maintain an acceptable use policy with restrictions on printing Accenture Data and procedures for appropriately disposing of printed materials that contain Accenture Data when such data is no longer needed under the Agreement; iv) maintain an appropriate approval process whereby Supplier’s approval is required prior to its Personnel storing Accenture Data on portable devices, remotely accessing Accenture Data, or processing such data outside of Supplier facilities. If remote access is approved, Personnel will use multi-factor authentication, which may include the use of smart cards with certificates, One Time Password (OTP) tokens, and biometrics.
