QUANTITY AND COST ESTIMATING. Under this task, the Consultant, utilizing the Schematic Geometric Design Drawings, and the Preliminary and Final Contract Drawings, shall prepare detailed Estimates of Quantities and costs for all pay items of work that are required under the ensuing construction contract at various stages of this design program. The Estimate of Quantities and costs shall be used as the basis for the detailed Consultant's Estimate for the project. 1. The Consultant shall prepare and submit an updated estimate of quantities and costs at the following stages of the project: A. For Preliminary Design projects: 1. At the completion of Preliminary Design. B. For Preliminary and Final Design Projects: 1. Phase 1: at the completion of Preliminary Design; 2. Phase 2: at Mass Mailing No. 1 (approximately 40% design completion); 3. Phase 3: at Mass Mailing No. 2 (approximately 75% design completion);
