Common use of Qualifying Students Clause in Contracts

Qualifying Students. This Agreement pertains to the transfer of “Qualifying Students”, i.e., those students who: 1. Have successfully completed the program at the Sending Institution; 2. Are enrolled in the Sending Institution, in good standing; and 3. Are accepted for admission to the Receiving Institution 4. Complete the following coursework, known as the qualifying coursework, at Prince George’s Community College with a minimum grade of “C”: o EGL-1010 o MAT-1250 or MAT-1350 o CHM-1010 o BIO-1140 5. Earned a high school diploma or GED 6. ACT (American College Test) composite score of 16 or above, SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) equivalent score of 790 or above for Critical Reading and Math, or a degree from an accredited college or university. ACT and SAT scores are considered current for five years. 7. Provide evidence of registration for Introduction to Clinical Laboratory Science theory and laboratory courses (MLT 1012 & MLT 1012L) 8. Possess a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA 9. Submit the petition for admission no later than June 1st of each year 10. Meet all special admissions criteria identified in the current College of Southern Maryland catalog. 11. Students are only eligible for fall admission 12. Part-time students are eligible for this agreement.
