– PURPOSE & INTERPRETATION. 1.01 The Company and the Union agree to meet for the purposes of promoting co-operation between the Company and the Union and discussing issues relating to the workforce which affect the parties or any employees bound by this Agreement. Parties agree to meet on an as-required basis, the chair rotates; the Company will take minutes and both parties to agree upon the minutes prior to distribution. While not forming part of the Collective Agreement, the Union has provided the Company for reference purposes a guideline for such joint labour/management consultation meetings which are described in Appendix “B”.
– PURPOSE & INTERPRETATION. 1.1 It is the general purpose of this Agreement to set forth the conditions of employment, the rates of pay and hours of work to which both parties have agreed.
1.2 This agreement will be interpreted in a manner consistent with the mission and objective of the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and Conservatory of Music. All references in the agreement to the masculine gender shall apply also to the feminine gender.
