Public Works Bond. Before starting work, the contractor and sub-contractors shall each file with the Construction Contractors Board and maintain in full force and effect, a separate public works bond, in the amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) unless otherwise exempt, under ORS 279C.836(7) or (8). The contractor shall verify sub-contractors have filed a public works bond before the sub-contractor begins work.
