The Government and the Combined Authority will work with relevant central and local statutory and non-statutory sector partners to explore innovative and integrated approaches to redesigning sustainable public services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough with a focus on prevention and early help. This includes the transfer of powers between the Combined Authority, the County Council, District Councils and Parish Councils to deliver the most efficient and effective public services. The Government and the Combined Authority will also focus on tackling socio-economic issues in areas of deprivation, such as parts of Fenland, Cambridge, Huntingdon and Peterborough, to improve the quality of life for local residents.
