Common use of Public Purposes Clause in Contracts

Public Purposes. The Grantee agrees that the Project to which this Grant Agreement relates shall be dedicated to public purposes as part of its corporate capital and any project constructed or equipment or facilities acquired, shall be owned and operated for the benefit of the general public. The Grantee shall spend monies appropriated under this grant only for the purposes specified in the Grant Agreement. The benefits of the Project shall be made available without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, age, physical handicap, sex, marital status, changes in marital status, pregnancy or parenthood.
