Common use of Provider-Member Relationship Clause in Contracts

Provider-Member Relationship. The parties agree that Provider shall maintain a traditional provider-patient relationship with Managed Care Plan's Enrollees. Provider shall be solely responsible to the Enrollee for the provision of Covered Services. Provider may freely communicate with, advocate for, and advise Enrollee accordingly, regarding the diagnosis of Enrollee's condition, care and available treatment regardless of whether any treatments are Covered Services or reflect ILS Community Network's or Managed Care Plan's position. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to interfere with Provider's patient relationship with Managed Care Plan Enrollees.
