Common use of Provided by the Contractor Clause in Contracts

Provided by the Contractor.  Contractor to provide and ensure safe transportation services for all his Contractors and it must comply with 32-93 and 32-345 procedures.  Contractor to provide own (coffee, sugar, milk, tea, etc.)  All computers and printers accessories needed to be provided by the Contractor.  The Contractor will be responsible for the cost of all private phone calls, faxes and internet usage.  The Contractor to provide accommodation and meals for his/her employees and costs for this to be included in the contract price.  All PPE to be provided by Contractor and must be SABS approved and according to Eskom standards  Provide SABS approved Safety harnesses as per Eskom Safety Requirements.  The Contractor will be responsible for the cost of all internet usage or telephone calls made to any cellular, Telkom or international number.  Contractor to provide a Method Statement for the SOW  Contractor will provide a full detailed Method Statement to explain how the SOW will be executed and this must form part of the Tender returnables. - a method statement on how the contractor will maintain, inspect and test, fire protection equipment such as pumps, valves, nozzles, pipework and sprinkler bulbs.  Contractor to provide own cabins for office and work place with COC, Eskom to provide space.  The Contractor supplies, maintains and ensures that his personnel at all times wear personal protective equipment as required on site.  The Contractor’s equipment does not impair the operation of the plant or access to the plant.  Access permits [Refer to procedure: Access Control at Eskom premises (32-1134)]  Contractor to provide own tools and equipment and test instruments to enable to preform work according to the scope of work.  Contractor to supply own 220 or 380 VAC extension’s and lead lights at the Contractor own costs.  Certified copies of ID’s and Qualifications to be provided by the Contractor on contract reward.

Provided by the Contractor.  The Contractor supplies all tools, equipment, plant, machinery, portable explosion proof lights, consumables, labour, Personal Protective equipment, transport, accommodation, communications (cell phones or other) offices, office equipment, testing apparatus (oxygen monitor), additional storage, security and any other item required to provide and ensure safe transportation services for all his Contractors and it must comply with 32-93 and 32-345 procedurescarry out the works.  Contractor to provide own (coffee, sugar, milk, tea, etc.)  All computers tools and printers accessories needed to be equipment provided by the ContractorContractor is to be SABS Compliant and fully functioning and to be checked daily as to whether it complies with the necessary health and safety requirements.  The Contractor will Quality checks on all tools / equipment to be responsible for the cost of all private phone calls, faxes done daily before and internet usageafter work commence.  The Contractor Equipment check sheets should be filled in, be up to provide accommodation date and meals filed for his/her employees and costs for this to be included in the contract price.  All PPE to be provided by Contractor and must be SABS approved and according to Eskom standards  Provide SABS approved Safety harnesses as per Eskom Safety Requirements.  The Contractor will be responsible for the cost of all internet usage or telephone calls made to any cellular, Telkom or international number.  Contractor to provide a Method Statement for the SOW  Contractor will provide a full detailed Method Statement to explain how the SOW will be executed and this must form part of the Tender returnables. - a method statement on how the contractor will maintain, inspect and test, fire protection equipment such as pumps, valves, nozzles, pipework and sprinkler bulbs.  Contractor to provide own cabins for office and work place with COC, Eskom to provide space.  The Contractor supplies, maintains and ensures that his personnel at all times wear personal protective equipment as required records on site.  The Contractor’s records to be readily available to the Service Manager / Eskom Safety personnel on request.  Required minimum arc rating of 8cal/cm²  Inherent fire resisting clothing comprising of: o Long sleeve jacket and trousers o Undergarments and socks made of 100% untreated fabric ( non-melting materials) o Leather safety shoes o Hearing protection o Safety glasses or Goggles The Contractor shall issue its personnel with the necessary personal protective equipment does not impair relevant to the operation specific workplace; all personnel shall be issued with overalls on which the company's name is clearly visible on the back of the plant overall. No Eskom or access other overalls will be allowed to be worn by any Contractor or his Personnel. All personnel protective equipment must be SABS approved. The Contractor supplies overalls, Hard hats with chin straps, safety shoes, heavy duty rain suits, gloves, gum boots, dust masks, respirators, hearing protection, harnesses and any other safety requirements for his personnel. He ensures that he maintains all statutory safety requirements, has a first aid box or boxes on site, and where necessary does the plantnecessary training as required for the work scope on site.  Access permits [Refer to procedure: Access Control at Eskom premises (32-1134)]  Contractor to provide own tools For all work outputs on the various plants and equipment and test instruments to enable to preform work according to the scope areas of work.  Contractor to supply own 220 or 380 VAC extension’s and lead lights at cleaning, the Contractor own costs.  Certified copies of ID’s shall have available method statements for the activity, number people he will utilise, equipment he will be utilising, how he is to control the activity, durations required, safety that will be taken into account and Qualifications any other requirement that may apply to be provided by the Contractor on contract rewarda specific task.

ESKOM HOLDINGS SOC LTD CONTRACT NUMBER MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS OF FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM AT TUTUKA POWER STATION FOR A PERIOD OF 5 YEARS  Contractor to supply own 220 or 380 VAC extension’s and lead lights at the Contractor own costs.  Certified copies of ID’s and Qualifications to be provided by the Contractor on contract reward.
