Protection of Existing Elements. The Contractor shall ensure the protection of all existing features, public utilities, and other existing structures during construction. The Contractor shall ensure the protection of existing, site improvements, trees and shrubs from damage during construction. Protection extends to the root systems of existing vegetation. The Contractor shall not store materials or equipment, or drive machinery, within drip line of existing trees and shrubs.
