Common use of Promptness Clause in Contracts

Promptness. The Engineer shall make decisions with reasonable promptness after presentation of evidence on (i) any claim of the Owner or Contractor, (ii) a demand of the Owner or Contractor for a decision on any matter relating to the execution, or progress, of the Work, or (iii) a demand of the Contractor or Owner for interpretation of or additional instructions (“Request for Information” or “RFI”) with respect to the Contract Documents.
