PROFESSIONAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES. 18.01 The board shall provide information to the Union President about the professional development activities provided by the board.
18.02 An occasional teacher shall, upon request, have access to the Board’s in-service programs, space permitting, on a voluntary basis without pay. The board will share the calendar with the President annually.
18.03 A Professional Activity Day shall not interrupt the continuity of an occasional teaching assignment.
18.04 The Board agrees to allocate $7,500 annually for the purpose of supporting the professional development of elementary occasional teachers.
