Professional Growth Program. There shall be a Professional Growth Program in place for all classified employees. Professional Growth is an organized activity designed to improve performance of employees in the classified service and to provide training for employees to gain new skills and abilities, to broaden their opportunity for promotion, to engage in study and related activities designed to retain and extend the high standards of the classified employee.
Professional Growth Program. It shall be the policy of the Board of Trustees to encourage continued and active participation on the part of all classified employees in professional growth activities designed to improve service to the District. Professional Growth activities may be District-sponsored activities held outside of regular assignment and educational activities of other agencies. Credit for participation in these activities shall be reflected in an earned professional growth increment as approved by the Board.
Professional Growth Program. 9.6.1 A Professional Growth Differential of 2.5% will be paid on the employee’s total compensation including all differentials, for each 15 semester units earned, up to a maximum of 60 units. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary within this Agreement, an employee may participate only once in the professional Growth Program to the maximum units allowable under the expressed terms of this Agreement.
Professional Growth Program. A Professional Growth Program is provided for in Appendix C, which is attached hereto and by reference incorporated as a part of this agreement.
Professional Growth Program. The Professional Growth Program is a form of personal evaluation in which the emphasis is on enhancements and improvements in job related skills, techniques, and abilities. The employee, with the aid of his/her supervisor, shall seek to develop a professional growth plan. The plan can cover up to a two (2) year period while the employee is on the short form process. The employee is encouraged to set goals as a part of the plan. The professional growth activity conducted by a certificated classroom teacher shall be specifically linked to one or more of the certificated classroom teacher evaluation criteria. One (1) or more of the following sources of information shall be used by the employee in developing a professional growth plan:
Professional Growth Program. All unit members are eligible to make application to the Professional Growth Program.
Professional Growth Program. 1. The Professional Growth Program shall be available on a voluntary basis for all certificated employees. This plan is designed to encourage professional growth through employee self-assessment and goal setting in cooperative discussions and collegial planning with the supervising administrator.
Professional Growth Program. A. Once a teacher has reached 10 years of experience on the salary schedule, he/she may receive a maximum of 5 additional professional growth stipends (PGS), the second, third, fourth, and fifth of which will only be granted after respective 5-, 10-, 15-, and 20-year intervals from the first. The third, fourth, and fifth PGS shall only be awarded for teachers on the master’s column unless section 1.b. has been satisfied. Teachers employed after April 1, 2010 must be on the master’s column in order to be eligible for any PGS. The professional growth stipends are cumulative and may be obtained as follows in any order:

Professional Growth Program. The District and Association recognize the value of continuing professional growth of classified employees. Accordingly, the following programs are designed to reward and encourage employees to complete training to learn skills and knowledge related to their job responsibilities.
