Common use of Private Accommodations Clause in Contracts

Private Accommodations. When an employee provides their own accommodations while travelling on the Employer's business, they will be compen- sated at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25) per night, effec- tive April 1, 1999. In the event that during the life of this collective agreement, Treasury Board increases the amounts paid to employees who utilize private accommodations, these increases shall be paid to all eligible employees from the date specified by the Treasury Board. The Employer agrees to maintain existing conditions that are more beneficial than the terms of this Clause for the life of this agreement.
