Common use of Privacy and Data Protection Laws; Residual Information Clause in Contracts

Privacy and Data Protection Laws; Residual Information. Each Party shall comply with all applicable state, federal and foreign privacy and data protection Laws that are or that may in the future be applicable to the provision of the Services under this Agreement. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, each Party and its Subsidiaries shall be free to use for any purpose the Residual Information resulting from access Representatives of such Party or its Subsidiaries have had to confidential and proprietary information concerning the other Party or its Subsidiaries. The Parties acknowledge and understand that the foregoing does not constitute a license under any patents or copyrights, nor does it confer any other rights or interests in either Parties’ Intellectual Property.
