Principles. 1.1 The Trust will be governed by trustees appointed by the OECTA (“the employee trustees”) and trustees appointed by OCSTA and the Crown acting together (“the employer trustees”); 1.2 The Trust will be responsible for the delivery of benefits on a sustainable, efficient and cost effective basis; 1.3 Services provided by the Trust to be available in both official languages, English and French; 1.4 Other employee groups in the education sector may join the Trust by entering into an agreement with the Trustees that requires the group to pay for all benefits and administrative costs related to the creation, establishment and operation of a benefits plan for that group.
