Common use of Prescribed Holidays Clause in Contracts

Prescribed Holidays. All Employees (excluding casuals) will be entitled, without loss of pay to public holidays as follows: New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or such other day as is generally observed in the locality as a substitute for any of the said days respectively, and/or proclaimed or gazetted as a holiday.

Prescribed Holidays. All Employees (excluding casuals) other than casual employees will be entitled, entitled to the following public holidays without loss of pay to public holidays as followspay, namely: • New Year’s Day, years day • Australia Day, Day + Canberra Day + Good Friday, Friday • Easter Saturday, Sunday • Easter Monday, Monday • Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday, Day • Queens Birthday • Labour Day, Day • Christmas Day, Day • Boxing Day or such • Any other day as is generally observed in which maybe gazetted by the locality as a substitute for any of the said days respectively, and/or proclaimed or gazetted as a holidayACT Government from time to time.
