Common use of Preparation Periods Clause in Contracts

Preparation Periods. The District shall provide time during the normal work day to allow teachers to devote time to individual students, plan for classes or student activities, classroom management and grading, individual principal/teacher or parent/teacher conferences, teacher evaluation and/or other school related work or activities. These activities shall occur during the non-teaching time during the work day before and after school and during scheduled preparation periods.
