Common use of Pregnancy Accommodation Clause in Contracts

Pregnancy Accommodation. The Employer and the Union will comply with all 20 relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and executive orders and with the provisions 21 of Washington Administrative Policy Statement 46.7 Reasonable Accommodation of 22 Pregnant Employees. The University and the Union are committed to providing 23 reasonable accommodation to pregnant employees. Pregnant Residents are encouraged 24 to seek needed accommodations to their schedules and work responsibilities during their 25 pregnancy and for two (2) months afterwards. The University will provide 26 training/guidance to Program Directors regarding accommodation for pregnant 27 Residents.
