Preceptor. a professional person not in receipt of compensation from Langara College and designated temporarily for a specified period of time to serve as an advisor or role model, usually off campus, for students in one or more programs or courses offered by Langara College. A preceptor is not covered by any provisions of this Agreement except Articles 5.16 and 10.3.8.
