Common use of Precedence of Documentation Clause in Contracts

Precedence of Documentation. If there is any inconsistency between the provisions of the body of this Contract and the Schedules, the body of this Contract shall take precedence. In the event of any inconsistency between Schedule 12 (Mandatory Guidance) and the other Schedules, Schedule 12 (Mandatory Guidance) shall take precedence. Any amendments to the Mandatory Guidance shall be agreed between the Authority and the Contractor through the Change Procedure. In the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of this Contract (excluding the Controlled Documents) and any Controlled Document, the provisions of this Contract (excluding the Controlled Documents) shall take precedence.
