Preappointment Testing Clause Samples

The Preappointment Testing clause establishes requirements for individuals to undergo specific tests or screenings before being officially appointed to a position or role. Typically, this may involve medical examinations, drug screenings, or background checks to ensure candidates meet certain standards or qualifications. By mandating such testing prior to appointment, the clause helps organizations verify suitability and mitigate risks associated with unqualified or unsuitable candidates.

Also, the employee may be disciplined if the employee fails a drug test, refuses to submit to the drug test, interferes with a test procedure, or tampers with a test sample.
