Common use of Pre-Order Clause in Contracts

Pre-Order. 2.1 PACIFIC will provide real time access to pre-order functions to support CLEC ordering of Resale services. The Parties acknowledge that ordering requirements necessitate the use of current, real time pre-order information to accurately build service orders. The following lists represent pre-order functions that are available to CLEC so that CLEC order requests may be created to comply with PACIFIC ordering requirements. 2.2 Pre-ordering functions for Resale services include: 2.2.1 features and services available at a valid service address (as applicable); 2.2.2 access to PACIFIC retail or resold customer proprietary network information (CPNI) for pre-ordering will include: billing name, service address, billing address, service and feature subscription, directory listing information, long distance carrier identity, and pending service order activity (CLEC agrees that CLEC’s representatives will not access the information specified in this subsection until after the customer requests that his or her local exchange service provider be changed to CLEC and customer authorization for release of CPNI has been obtained which complies with conditions as described in section 1.4 of this Appendix.); 2.2.3 a telephone number (if the customer does not have one assigned) with the customer on-line; 2.2.4 service availability dates to the customer; 2.2.5 information regarding whether dispatch is required; 2.2.6 Primary Interexchange Carrier (PIC) options for intraLATA toll (when available) and interLATA toll; 2.2.7 service address verification.
