Posting Time. Regular and special trips shall be posted a minimum of two (2) posting days or forty-eight (48) hours, whichever comes first, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and other days that Fairfield Schools are not in session. For purposes of this paragraph only, a posting day means a day from 6:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. excluding Saturdays, Sundays and other days that Fairfield Schools are not in session. Regular and special field trips shall be assigned from the regular and special posting boards, respectively. Regular and special trips will be posted on one board and the Drivers will sign the appropriate posting boards. Emergency trips shall be assigned from the emergency posting board. The foregoing notwithstanding, when in the judgment of the Transportation Director an emergency exists for which a Bus Driver or Chauffeur is needed immediately, or, if no regular Bus Driver or Chauffeur is available from appropriate posting boards, the Transportation Director may assign a regular or substitute Bus Driver or Chauffeur without using any posting boards.
Posting Time. The City and the Association agree that the application filing period for all Fire Engineer, Fire Engineer/Paramedic, Fire Captain, and Fire Captain/Paramedic promotional recruitments shall be no less than twenty-eight
Posting Time. The Personnel Department may occasionally determine that the position title requires an extension of the posting period which exceeds the required ten working days. While the Personnel Department has the option to extend the period of posting, the ten-day requirement may not be shortened.
Posting Time. When a new job(s) or job vacancy becomes available, the Company will post the position for three (3) working days.
