Common use of Postdated and Staledated Items Clause in Contracts

Postdated and Staledated Items. You authorize us to accept and pay any check, even if the check is presented for payment before its date, unless you notify us before the check is presented as required by law. The Credit Union will not be liable for paying the item before the date stated and we may charge your account as of the date we pay the item. You also agree not to deposit checks, drafts, or other items before they are properly payable. The Credit Union is under no obligation to you to pay a check or draft drawn on your account which is presented more than six months after its date, but we may do so in our discretion.
