Position Audit Appeals. A bargaining unit member who disagrees with the results of a position audit may appeal the decision. A completed Audit Appeal form must be filed with the Chief Human Resources Officer within thirty (30) days of receipt of notification of the audit results. The Chief Human Resources Officer will forward the appeal request to the Audit Appeal Committee, which will complete its review and provide written notification of its decision to the bargaining unit member within sixty (60) calendar days of the Audit Appeal request. The decision of the Audit Appeal Committee is final and binding; there is no further appeal and the decision is not grievable. The Audit Appeal Committee will consist of one member and an alternate appointed by YSU-APAS, one member and an alternate appointed by the Chief Human Resources Officer, and the Vice President of Finance and Administration or his/her designee. Alternates will not serve as voting members unless replacing an appointee and will not attend meetings unless serving as a substitute for the member. Audit Appeal Committee appointees and alternates will serve for one (1) fiscal year.
