The 'Pool vehicles' clause defines the rules and conditions under which vehicles owned or leased by an organization are made available for shared use by employees or authorized personnel. Pool vehicles. 9.2.1 The use of pool vehicles is restricted for the sole purpose of conducting company business.
9.2.2 The employee needs express permission to utilize pool vehicles for any private business.

Pool vehicles. In this clause, Check means a valid:
Pool vehicles. (i) Vehicles utilised for vehicle inspections shall continue with the current van pooling arrangements.
(ii) Part time and casual Employees undertaking roadside assistance will be allocated a vehicle from a pool of vehicles each shift.
(iii) Within the first 2 years of this Agreement the RAC will collaborate with full time Employees undertaking roadside assistance with a view to the implementation of the following:
(A) Where an Employee requires a vehicle to undertake their job a vehicle will be allocated from a pool of vehicles suitable for the type of work undertaken.
(B) Employees directed to return their vehicles for any reason such as during a period of leave, for repairs and maintenance etc. may not be guaranteed of being provided the same vehicle unless there is a valid occupational safety and health reason to do so.
(C) Employees returning their vehicles will be provided with transport home.
(D) The collaborative process shall examine how to resolve a wide range of issues relating to the Members, operational and Employees needs. For example this may include issues such as administration and logistics, down time, occupational safety and health, supply and replacement of tools and equipment, cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of vehicles, moving between different models of vehicles and Employees individual work processes.
