The POLISHING clause defines the responsibilities and standards for finishing surfaces to a specified level of smoothness or shine. Polishing. All doorplates, kick plates, brass and metal fixtures within the building will be wiped weekly and polished quarterly.

Polishing. Activated carbon is used to remove the residual trace contaminants. During this step, a pH adjustment is also made before rejecting the treated purged water.
